Twelve year old Gabby Gallagher has never lived in a big city before. But when she and her father must move in with her Grandpa, she’s thrown into a sea of bright lights and loud noises.

Unsure of how to navigate this new situation, she hides in her room. But help comes from the most unexpected of places, and when a talking stray cat knocks on her window, Gabby’s world is turned upside down.
